She’s right up my street as well Cheryl

Just spent a lovely Saturday night trying to wake myself up from a long siesta.XFactor was amazing tonight. We’ve had a few mediocre shows in the latest series. But tonight we have already watched, several times,Cher Lloyd.

Each time my Hubby sat with tears streaming down his face.Something about her singing got to him.I can’t wait to see how she does in the next stages.

We have made the most of the nice weather this week.We spent a lovely afternoon being terribly British.Enjoying an afternoon tea at The Orchard near Cambridge.I was reshooting for my second attempt,at my first assignment for Karen Russell's workshop. It covers the rules of composition

• Defining your subject or story
• Simplicity
• The Rule of Thirds
• Leading lines
• Framing
• Balance
• Mergers

I have been busy most evenings taking a Photoshop course with Jessica Sprague.I can’t wait to be able to share some of my before and afters, but at the moment I haven’t finished the course and I have no idea how to prepare them for the internet!!!

The main man in Photoshop is coming to the UK in October. He’s doing a one day seminar in London.Everyone on the workshop thought I was mad to not sign up straight away. But I was worried I would feel intimidated in a room full of professional photographers. So lucky for me  Erin from my workshop is going to fly over from Germany and stay with me and we are going to go together.

Just one problem I don’t have full Photoshop(yet, just Photoshop Elements) and who knew when I started this journey that the colour you see on your computer won’t match up with your picture developers. So I have to calibrate my monitors,if I want my developed pictures to match what I edited them to look like .Agghhh.

Plus I hopefully have some scrapping news to share with you over the weekend.

I wonder what that scrappy news could be????!!!! Hmmm!!!! I can't wait to see what you did, if it's what I think it is!!!

Fabby photo's from The Orchard...you really do not have anything to be intimadated about...you give many pro's a run for their money! But it'll be nice to have company on the course. I have to say though, you may need to have another session with Hilary...I feel a big investment coming on!!!!!!
